The Results of the 2011 Driver Power

23,000 drivers took part in Driver Power’s poll to help find out what is the most reliable and satisfying car on the UK market to own. On Wednesday the 13th of April 2011 the Driver Power results were released and below you can see some of the highlights of the poll including the UK’s best and worst cars and manufacturers, some of the most affordable / economical cars to run, some of the results have caused quite a shock.
The Driver Power survey has been running for ten years now and its one of the most reliable surveys around as each car that appears in the poll has been rated by the people who own, drive, pay the bills and put up with any drawbacks.

The car that came first in the Driver Power poll was the Skoda Superb Hatchback which has understated looks and loads of space, the Superb also has a tailgate which opens as either a saloon or a hatchback.

You won’t see any manufacturers at the top of the list who invest in just one model at the expense of all others in there line up, as only the cream of manufacturers have risen to the top of this chart. To achieve a high average score as a manufacturer, they must rate highly for all models in there line up then an average score is given out to give an overview of each manufacturer’s performance. Not only has the Skoda taken the overall winner with the Superb but it has also taken top spot for the manufacturers awards too.

Reliability measurement. If the car has had any sort of fault which has meant a trip back to your local dealer, this means the model will lose small marks. But if the fault was serious enough and resulted in a breakdown on the side of the road, this means the penalty will be higher resulting in a lower position.
